A long-time GoDaddy customer wanted a modern website for her holistic therapy practice, without paying more for tools that no longer met her needs.

Overview

The client's practice spans holistic therapy, mental-emotional somatic work, spiritual teaching, and alchemy. Her previous site, built on a GoDaddy builder in 2015, had become dated, with pricing that continued to escalate. The objective was a complete redesign that preserved the original content and voice while moving to an affordable platform she could manage independently, with booking, payments, downloads, and a blog.

What We Built

We moved the practice from GoDaddy to a modern platform, replacing a ~$300/year builder and an abandoned $150/month promo site with a single subscription. The design was tailored to her taste: the palette was selected from tones she identified early in the process, and the layout follows the structure of the previous site in a cleaner presentation, with a mobile layout rebuilt from scratch.

The copy was kept honest and human. The rotating headline was replaced with an inspiring quotes rotator curated by the client, and her service titles were preserved exactly as she wished.

Online booking replaced her Calendly subscription, with services, payment collection, and session reminders configured through the platform, along with a custom adjustment so clients in other time zones see appointment times in their own. A free psychoeducational downloads library lets visitors exchange their email for the material; the form features could not link to dynamic files directly, so the final step was coded to unlock the download after a short success message, while the remainder stays editable through a CMS table.

She manages the site herself. A dedicated writings page supports her own posts, and the Clean Up Crew workshop operates as a rolling subscription without appointment slots.

Results

The new site is live on her existing domain and indexed on Google. The client closed her Calendly and the old GoDaddy builder, consolidating onto a single plan. She publishes her own content without developer assistance, and the email-gated downloads built a contact list owned by the practice.
